OMG(oodness), Millie Is In Love With Metal Clay
>> Saturday, April 23, 2011
Now, why would I be concerned about Millie's new love?...well I may be the older sister, but she is the one that gets us into trouble. Really!
First it starts with a casual comment, then there are the "new" magazines and books that start to just happen to be on the table while we are having tea. Hmmm.."Not interested" says I, "Way to busy and isn't it expensive?" Vague answers are heard and the next thing I know I'm registered to take a class; don't ask me how she does it, but she does it.
So now I'm in a class and working with "silver" that needs to be handled in just such a way to avoid all sorts of evils. Thankfully, we have a great instructor Pam Feindel of Attitude Jewelry. It is almost magically how the clay leaves and a beautiful creation appears. Truth be told, I did enjoy the class very much and will be taking another one shortly to make a ring.
Stay tuned for pictures of our creations in my next blog.
